I have tried the workaround in this thread, which is to quit the program and restart it. This does not work; it fails in the same exact way as this thread claims this method is supposed to work, regardless of whether I run it as root or not.I have also tried the following, which did indeed work (I tried it while logged in as root):java -Djdk1.8.0_151 -Dfelix.framework.loader=com.codeweavers.rt.loader.RtLoader -Dcom.codeweavers.rt.launcher=RAdminLauncher -Dcom.codeweavers.rt.application=RAdmin -Dradmin.authentication.type=RAdminLauncher -Dfelix.framework.version=0.7.2 -jar RAdminLauncher.jarThe error text is as follows:java.lang.NullPointerException at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.RtLauncher.(RtLauncher.java:64)Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerExceptionat java.lang.String.(String.java:19)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.RtLauncher.createLauncher(RtLauncher.java:68)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.RtLauncher.getLauncher(RtLauncher.java:206)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.RtLauncher.(RtLauncher.java:85)at java.lang.reflect.Constructor.newInstance(Constructor.java:446)at java.lang.Class.newInstance(Class.java:1057)at java.lang.reflect.Constructor.newInstance(Constructor.java:462)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.Launcher.createShellFile(Launcher.java:158)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.Launcher.initialize(Unknown Source)at com.codeweavers.rt.launcher.Launcher.
I have a macbook pro. Before I upgraded to crossover 9 and got this issue, I used Parallels to run my XP bottle then did the crossover upgrade. I never had this issue. I also tried a new wine bottle in crossover 9 and got the same issue. Do I need to have a specific OS image to use RAdmin for Mac. The parables was going away so I had to get a new one.
I have the exact same problem as above. When I press the start button on the Radmin Viewer I get the following error:"RAdmin can't connect to the remote host. Please check your settings and try again."On my current machine, I can fix this error by going to the preferences panel in the Radmin Viewer and changing the Initial Server Response to "none". However, when I do that, the Configure Server button is greyed out and I have no way of getting to it.It worked fine in crossover 8.0.1. d2c66b5586
