“I am not going to the inauguration,” Graham told reporters at the Capitol.
“The platform makes it pretty clear to me how I feel.”
The South Carolina Republican added that Trump’s positions on Muslims and immigration had him “sick to [his] stomach,” referring to the Republican nominee's remarks during the campaign that "Islam hates us."
The platform endorsed by the party's national convention in Cleveland this summer also included a commitment to "oppose any law that imposes a federal price or tax on the consumption of ethanol."
Trump is slated to take the oath of office on Friday.
