The comedy is VERY funny (casting Jackie as a lawyer is funny in itself, intentionally I hope), the romance is sweet and the action is (expectedly) spectacular. The film is marred only by its inconsistent tone: there is a little too much violence toward the end, which doesn't sit too well with the rest of the movie. By the way, I watched the dubbed version, and this may be one of those rare instances where the dubbing does not significantly detract from the film - in fact, it probably ENHANCES the comedy. (***)
As in the previous film, I used the SeaVision subtitle adapter to synchronize the Indian language dubbing. There's no English subtitles on this version, and I assume this is because the actors did not speak in English during production.The audio quality of the dubbed audio is very good and the dubbing is consistent. Dialog is easy to understand, but the voices are good only for like-able characters (Jackie Chan is obviously dubbed by himself, whereas his evil counterpart is totally unrecognizable). There are some commercial jingles (onscreen captions when the movie is on TV) and plenty of other items which are endemic to the Indian standard of dubbing.
